Use My Ability enhancing graduate employability
enhancing graduate employability...

by equipping disabled students with skills to match employability competencies

This resource helps academic and careers staff to understand the needs of, and challenges for, disabled students in developing their employability skills, competences and attributes.

Case Studies

The web based resource will be supplemented by case studies that highlight good practice.

We hope that these will feature:
  • inclusive teaching strategies that enable disabled students to develop and/or demonstrate their employability skills and attributes;
  • good employment practice that enables disabled students to engage effectively with their work placements;
  • good practice in marketing and advertising jobs that encourage applications from disabled people;
  • disclosure issues;
  • good practice in relation to making reasonable adjustments.

If you have some examples of such practice please let us know (email: usemyability@worc.ac.uk) and we will be pleased to add them to this site.
